SmartAsset is a personal finance technology company headquartered in New York, New York[1] that uses financial modeling to provide advice on major financial decisions. [2][3][4] SmartAsset also provides credit scores and credit monitoring. They have provided research studies featuring data analysis on topics like best cities for women in tech[5] and most affordable places to live.[6]
SmartAsset launched in July 2012 by CEO Michael Carvin and CTO Philip Camilleri as a Y Combinator startup company.[7]
